Olivia graduated from the University of Connecticut with a master’s degree in educational psychology. She has many years of experience in IB education. She has been teaching in US for 5 years, she served as a general practice teacher in Teacher Memorial Magnet school, and then as the academical principal of the Chinese School in South Connecticut. After she came back from America in 2020, she worked as a house coordinator and general teacher in a well-known international school in Changsha. She is familiar with IB curriculum and the design and implementation of interdisciplinary inquiry unit. she pays attention to every detail and strive to cultivate children’ habits of inquiry, research ability, thinking skills, the ability to solve problems and how to raise new problems. she develops the academic writing ability of mother tongue and second language, as well as the ability of organization and time management, international feelings, and sense of responsibility to society. she advocates the educational philosophy of taking responsibility for each child, creating a platform for individualized learning and comprehensive development of students, and believes that the power of love in education can change the trajectory of all students' growth.
