William John Farrow
International Homeroom Teacher

Mr. William is from the UK and studied at Warwick University in the UK, majoring in Classical Civilisation. At the age of 25, he decided that life was too short to be in the office all day, so he made the life-changing decision to teach English in China. Some years ago, in Shenzhen he met his wife, who is from Hunan, so together they moved to Changsha. It was in this city where he first taught children, and from that moment he really began his career as a teacher of young learners focusing on teaching children aged between 4 - 12 years.

He worked in a well-known international school in Changsha, where he taught English up to grade 3. Mr. William has a simple teaching philosophy: encourage children to use language. Whether it’s listening, speaking, reading, or writing, classes should be student-focused with the teacher facilitating language.
