Martin was born in the North of England and graduated with a Masters in Chemistry from the University of Leeds, UK in 2013. After graduating he lived in London for a couple of years, travelled in Russia, Europe and South America before finally coming to China in 2018. He first came to WuHan to study a semester of Chinese language and found I enjoyed it so much I came back in 2019, this time to Changsha and he has been here ever since. He met his wife in 2020. After gaining my 120 hour TESOL qualification my main experience teaching has been with kindergarten aged children aged 4-6. I highly enjoy spending time with children in a learning environment and I believe one of the most effective methods to get children tolearn comes from  and is to create an interesting and exciting environment in which children aren’t forced to learn but actively want to learn.
